Schedule (A)

This page allows a user to produce the ‘Schedule A’ report. It is where the configuration for the GL accounts, from which the information in the other reports will be fetched is done.

How do we configure Ghana Reports configurations

To produce the Schedule A report you go to Accounts/Regulatory Reports/Schedule A and a screen will appear looking as follows:

• As at: Enter here the date up to when you want the Schedule A’ report to be generated e.g "30/04/2016".
• Bank account: From the drop down select the bank / bank account that you want to generate the "Schedule A" report.
• Balance as per our books: This is the balance as per the cash book
• Uncleared credits: The total of uncleared credit items (cheques issued but not yet presented for bank clearance) will automatically appear here e.g "3,500,000"
• Uncleared debits: The total of uncleared credit items (cheques issued but not yet presented for bank clearance) will automatically appear here e.g "2,750,000" as shown in the image below:

• Bank's outstanding credit items: Enter here the total outstanding credit items as per bank statement.
• Bank's out standing debit items: Enter here the total outstanding debit items as per bank statement.

• Click on the ‘Ok’ button a message will pop up inquiring if we want to create a new Excel Work-book or want to append the report to an already existing work-book:

• Clicking on Yes opens a ‘Save as’ dialog for you to select the location where you would like to save the work-book. It is advisable to have created that folder before.
• Where as clicking on No shows an ‘Open’ dialog for you to select an existing work-book to which you want to append the report:
• This will now generate the bank reconciliation statement of the selected bank account. Which will appears as below:

You can use the same work-book to save Schedule (A) reports for different banks.
